Hello all iam new to the site 

 

I have a c max  and the other night I started the car and went to drive off when the steering would not turn either way so I stopped and turned the car off I then tried again but had the same problem. On the 3rd attempt it worked and managed to get the car home. I phoned the rac and they came out they found a problem with one of the nodes? And said it needs to be taken to ford to repair. The car has been there since Friday and they can't find any problems with the car. Is it possible the rac have deleted the code off the car or is it a one off problem. Has anyone else had this as iam frightened it will happen again with my son in the car
