Roof spoiler leaks

Featured Replies

Hi a question for Lenny or anyone who has changed or removed from their roof spoiler where did you silicon seal your roof spoiler to tailgate on your car as mine has started to let water into my boot ?

each of the holes on the car, I just placed a circle of clear silicone around it in a continuous ring.  When the spoiler comes down and is bolted in place the silicone creates a seal between the spoiler and car around the hole, if done right, any rain shouldn't be able to make it in to the hole and thus inside the car.  Is it defo coming in from the spoiler? there is a known issue with the tailgate hinge allowing water in as well..
