Accessing rear corner panel

Featured Replies

Hi All,

First time posting here. Sorry if I missed any rules but had a good look around a few posts and read that this is the correct place to post.

I decided to get rid of my 62 plate focus S and go for a mk1(.5) 54 plate (05) focus 1.6 ghia as I no longer need to do lots of miles anymore. Needs a little tlc and using it as a bit of a test car too to learn a little more.

So far ive done little things like fixing the rear washer, boot struts etc and I am currently trying to remove a dent from the rear fs corner.

Ive removed the inside lining from the boot and using the well in that corner to put my arm inside to push out. So far ive got the rounding of the dent out and some of the crease. But i cant get enough of an angle on the dolly to hold it for very long.

Is there a better access route from the lights or the tyre well where I can get some more leverage?

Sorry for the tldr post! :)

Thanks for any help!
