Price to fit lowering springs

Featured Replies

What quotes have you guys had for getting lowering springs fitted?

I'd do a set on the drive for about £60 if it helps lol. I'd image at a garage you'd be looking at £100 or more.

Thanks m8 I would attempt it just don't have the tools so garage it will be :)

Are you from Angus? If you fancy a trip down to Fife I'd help you out

I'm in Monifieth I have not bought them as yet but will be as have a broken spring so going to change all. It's cool you are offering m8 may consider :)

No hassle. You'd have a nightmare of a time with the rear springs, they are not easy without some kit. Here is a couple of pics from a set I replaced the other day.

Don't say you've never done it Ian lol

OMG

That cars underside has a lot of rust.

That rear brake drum

It's 12 years old that's why -and it's a ford lol. The brake drum isn't that bad.

I think most break drums look like that. But surprised that you managed to loosen them nuts with all that rust. But most of that rust easily dissapears with a little autosol and metal brush.

Loosen what nuts lol. One drop link had already snapped off and I cut the other one off. Other than the wheel nuts I didn't undo or remove anything else.
