Focus 3.5, TitX 64 plate. Got out of the car last night and the.alarm sounds to switch engine off. The engine was off but alarm kept in until the door was shut. Also noticed this morning that lights came on even though bright sunshine? Any ideas or take back to dealers?

    Auto lights being on shouldn't be sounding an alarm. Are you sure the switch was all the way round? It may have slipped back to the headlight position.

    If the headlights came on in bright sunshine then you've definitely got the switch in the wrong position for auto headlights.

    All a bit odd. I don't touch the light switch, just leave on auto permanently. When I noticed the lights were on I switched off. The alarm didn't then go off when I stopped, so I put back to auto. Then turned back to off and it returned. Put back to auto again and it stopped and hasn't come back? Hopefully fault, if it was, sorted. Maybe just caught the switch with my knee or something, may have caused it?
