I have a fiesta zetec 1.2 62 plate.

when the key is taken out of the ignition there is an irritating beep, approx 8-10 single beeps then stops.

i have taken off warning chimes on dash- it still beeps.

does this indicate an electronic problem? 

It is intensely irritating.

    Aftermarket immobiliser or bluetooth phone kit fitted?
    I had a parrot system in my previous car that would beep if the wires to the screen became detached by accident.
    Some owners get kits fitted and then pull visible bits off if they don't work properly.
