Hi all, I have a 2004 1.4 Fiesta Flame.

I changed the front shocks and spring a couple of years ago but have found the ride to be harsh to say the least.

 As they were generic motor factor off the shelf parts I am wondering whether these were to blame having done some reading up on it.

I am now looking at changing them again, does anyone have any advice on best value for money brand to go for. 

Given the cars age and value I don't want to go over the top but I am willing to pay more than the basic brands especially as it's the wife's car and the extra spends will be worth it.
