HI, I'm new to both ford and Fiestas and this forum.

I'm looking for so help, firstly, what model fiesta do I have ? 7, 7.5,8?

 

I have a 1.0l 100hp zetec 2012 with the chrome slatted front grille and non led headlights.

 

 

Secondly I would like to swap out the chrome grille for a honeycomb one, but the local ford dealers say the honeycomb one isn't listed for my car..

Can one still be fitted.

It's a 7.5.

was the dealer searching using your reg? Probably why it wouldn't list the other grill, the grill you want is from a Zetec S or a ST-line

have a look on Fordpartsuk, they have them listed with part numbers so you can order from your local dealer.

Commonly referred to as a 7.5, although that's an entirely unofficial designation.

Pretty rare you see a 2012 with the so-called "Aston Martin grill".

58 plates are mk7

Facelift models (with the big grill) are mk7.5

The new 2017 model is the mk8.

Ebay sellers call them allsorts. Quite often they label the mk7.5 as the mk9 for some daft reason.
