Doesn't work: electric windows, electric mirrors, windscreen washer jets, fog lights, reversing light.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I have a big problem with my Ford Focus MK2 2005 Petrol 1,6. Everything started from flickering stop lights, diagnosed as faulty light bulb. I have replaced both rear stop light bulbs and no flickering now, but...

Few other things stopped working: electric windows, electric mirrors, windscreen washer jets, fog lights, reversing light doesn't work and windscreen heating in ON all the time (I had to remove the relay to turn it off). Dashboard backlight can be adjusted only by 10%, when in the past I was able to make it nearly completely dark.

I have checked all fuses in GEM module and aux box under the bonnet. Nothing blown. All the relays seems to work fine. I was able to check the windscreen relay, ignition, wipers. All connector in GEM ale fitted tight. No corrosion in bulb holders or damaged wires (as far as I can see).

Self diagnose showing code D900.

Do you have any ideas what can be checked next?

(I am not native, sorry for any mistakes)

SOLVED - fuse was in socket F23, but it should be in F25.
