coilovers - Whats needed

Featured Replies

My shock absorber has seen better days so im looking at upgrading to a set of coilovers. I dont want to reuse anything from the old shock (dont have the tools to take it apart without killing someone). What would be needed for the new build other that coilovers and camber plate?

I think it should be pretty much a straight swap, nothing from your old shocks will be used, apart from mounting bolts

Only if you get a complete shock / spring unit already assembled will you not need the tools that will help you not kill someone, or are coilovers assemblable without spring compressors?
