Updating Ford Sync in UK?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a ford fiesta edge 60 61 plate, I want to update the ford sync systems inside... However I cannot find anywhere that I can download the update?

My car does not display which version it currently is, I have checked all through the menu and nothing... Can anyone help?

you havent got sync.

Check the Ford Sync page on Wikipedia. It's pretty comprehensive and may tell you what you need to know.

I have it, but haven't got a clue how it works and my phone is so old it's unlikely to 'sync' to anything that doesn't come in a red box!

If your phone has bluetooth it will most likely work as a phone. Originally sync was just a fancy way of saying it inports your contacts onto the car when your phone is connected. It's also used for playing music over bluetooth. Other than that it seems useless to me.

My phone doesn't have Bluetooth. It also doesn't play music, doesn't have ringtones variations and doesn't even take pictures. It's just a phone and at least I can ignore it when I'm driving. It only cost £15 and I only bought one when I had a tracker on a previous car so I was contactable anywhere. Mobiles were useful to carry when I lived in the Highlands and Islands and travelled on some very deserted roads, but one of the places I lived it didn't work because there was no signal
