Clunking GearBox

So the Fez is in the garage tonight to have the gearbox looked at seems it clunks when changing gears,

Just wondered if anyone has had the same issue on the ST?

    Got the exact same issue on mine mate, I've got a thread about it. Just waiting for the garage I bought the car from to get back to me. I notice it mainly in 1-3, sometimes in 4th. Mine is a 66 plate less than a year old, 3k on the clock. Local ford evans halwshaw looked at it yesterday and told me to wait 3 months to see if it gets worse and claimed if they strip it down and can't see a problem then ford would bill me for a new gearbox if they changed it without diagnosing a fault.

    Got the car back,

    No issues found and according to fords head office this is normal for the ST and nothing to worry about.
