DrewP
Hello I have a 2011 fiesta Zetec S TDCI mk7 and would like to have a dab radio instead of the normal radio I have, is this possible? and if so has any one done this? Cheers Drew
Luke4efc
Been done before, I looked into it for mine but couldn't be bothered in the end. Need new aerial, head unit, and ecu reprogrammed using forscan. Apparently it's been hit and miss as to who's got it working, some have had wiring harness issues, others Forscan not activating it. Not sure if it's pot luck or whether you have to get a proper Ford DAB aerial, but possible to do.
Bobr
Don't bother, the reception is a bit hit and miss to say the least. I have a DAB radio and always have it tuned to FM. The reception is much more reliable.
Blatto
I agree, not worth the hassle. I gave up on the dab radio in my 2016 ST-Line Fiesta. Constantly losing the channels and I had to re tune them. and reception was very flaky at best. FM is better quality anyway, the only advantage dab gives is more stations (more stations of low audio quality rubbish).
