MOT Tomorrow - Focus MK1.5

Featured Replies

Well that time has come around again

I've prepped the Focus, tested all the lights etc, had to replace the brake lights though

Also topped up all the fluids, and gave her a good wash and wax

Fingers crossed :wink3:

Hi, last year I took mine for mot and it cost me £300 + cost of mot!

This year cost me £12 + cost of mot.

Happy days!!

Hope it goes well for you. Mike

Hope you greased your brake pipes!

Good luck!

Always a good idea to present the car clean, inside and out; a subtle message to the tester that the vehicle is well cared for.

if in doubt, leave £20 on the seat lol

The MOT is a complete lottery for any car over 8 years old in my experience lol

I think the trouble is some use the mot as a way of finding out what's needing repaired on their car rather than maintaining it properly.

If cars were looked after properly then the mot would pick up very little.

all my cars have passed with no advisories. as stef said if a car is maintained correctly then it should pass
