Hi all can i pick some of your brains to see what might be the problem with my focus 2007 tdci  well the car was pulling back abit not all the time just sometimes and also when pulling off need to pull of with a few more revs....  then when pulling of at a busy round about boom car cuts out  turns over but will not start RAC got me home

i had a look to see what codes no codes not 1?

The RAC dude said he thinks its injector failure but did no checks so i'm not sure 

after doing a few google search the i keep seeing Camshaft Sensor  

what do you guys think ?

When you have tried to start it, did it sound normal, or did it seem to be spinning quickly? (broken belt/chain?) - although I believe the diesels can be picky if any water/air is in the fuel system too.

The RAC chap should have been able to check the cam/crank sensors surely?

Hi the belt is fine 

the RAC dude had us back home within 20 mins he only looked at the air filter saw a splash of oil inside and said injector failure 

then he started getting towing stuff out the back of the van 

also when my car cut out it flashed on then off in a blink of an eye "power assist failure"  but i think this might be because the car had cut out ?

Diesel filter maybe? When was the last time it was changed?

I am no expert by the way it was just the first easy to solve thing that popped into my head :)

 

2 years ago was last change but the last time it was on the way out i had codes for it but i will change
