Hi guys, not been on for a while.

I'm experiencing some symptoms with turbo flutter. I also have a noise at idle like a Hoover going. Almost like air being sucked through a small gap but it's intermittent and seems to dissipate under boost. Also I can't hear the recirc valve hissing/venting.

The turbo flutter will happen low or high boost, sounds good but is bet it's beating the living daylights out of the turbo.

Now it's going into Fords on Friday, hopefully a warranty job (41000 mls). Would a broken recirc valve cause turbo flutter & this Hoover type noise? I suspect I'm gonna get fleeced for a new turbo.

I do have videos but don't know how to put them up.

    Are you sure you don't have any vacuum leaks?

    Yeah even with my limited knowledge that sounds like a split hose or something...

    Have a quick look first as best you can as a new hose will be a poolot less if you fit it than if Ford do and wriggle out of warranty...
