I have just bought a zetec s tdci on a 10 plate the problem is it starts then dies straight away ? Am i right in assuming this car doesnt have a fuel inertia switch anywhere ? No airbags have deployed . Any help greatly appreciated . Sean

    Diesels indeed do not have inertia switches.

    Any warning lights or loses power entirely? What section of the car was damaged? 

    Check error codes with obd or check battery.

    I am thinking maybe fuel filter blocked or air needs bleeding from the fuel pipe up to the high pressure fuel pump (the pump driven by the cam belt)
