Came across this site on google when trying to help the mrs sort her car and seems like the place to ask.

Had the dreaded engine light come on so took it to be scanned. Cylinder back firing so brought the relevant new coil and new spark plug incase.

 

But a friend of mine said it could possibly be a chain link slipping problem.

Car is a Ford Focus 1.8 style 2010 model.

any help at all would be amazing as at moment it's one thing after another with this car lol.
