I had enough of the shocking dim sound of the Ford 6000 I had in my MK2.5 . I bought a single din facia plate and fitted my old

Pioneer CD/Radio . The sound is so so so much better , just goes to show how shocking the standard head unit actually was .

Surprised, I have the Sony MP3 one in mine and it is brilliant, as good if not better than the factory Bose setup I have in my Mazda 3 Sport.

 

I replaced my 6 disc Sony branded stereo with an old Sony single din unit and found both to be pretty good as standard. Saying that, I do prefer the single din machine as it has more sound adjustment features, so I've been able to improve the sound quality from the original unit using them.

I was quite impressed with the standard speakers on the titanium model, so I didn't bother adding my 2 Alpine amps and 8" sub this time. Needed the boot space too...😂

I am running sony 6cd dab unit in my mk2.5 titanium which has 8 premium stock speakers but i changed them & fitted fusion components including the tweeters. I also run an underseat Alpine subwoofer fed via rca low line coverter. The sound is Awesome .
