Hi Folks looking like I need a new battery Euro parts are doing a Lion one which comes in at £47 after a code discount 

question is has anyone bought one of these for a focus 2.0 petrol

I've never used a Lion brand battery but it comes with a 3 year warranty at a really low price with the code so worst case scenario is the battery craps out within the 3 years and you get a free replacement.

I bought a Lion battery from Eurocarparts about 3 yrs ago for a Focus 1.6 petrol. Sold the car about a year later- the battery was fine. But one year was not exactly an endurance test.

My old 2007 Fiesta 1.6tdci is now owned by my brother. he replaced the battery with a Lion battery from Eurocarparts 2 days ago (using the spooky discount code). The Ford battery had lasted 10yrs 3 months and 160k approx miles.  I am not expecting the Lion battery to last that long  (nor the car)

Thanks for the replies was just a little worried as it’s cheap but I think I’ll give it a go then was concerned it may mess the management system up but it seems not
