Dash Clock is stuck one hour fast (BST/DST) 

how do I put it back to GMT

RADIO / DVD / GPS UNIT (XTRONS) IS SHOWING CORRECT TIME 

I mean the clock on the dash that is in between the rev counter and the speedo

    On the Focus MK2/MK2.5 the date/time are stored inside the instrument cluster. The radio acts as an interface to show and set/change the date and time. 

    It is a known problem that after installing an aftermarket radio the date/time can no longer be changed. 


    A known workarround for this problem is temporarily activating the FFH (Fuel Fired Heater) in the instrument cluster configuration. The FFH configuration makes it possible to change the date/time from withing the instrument cluster menu. After the date/time are adjusted the FFH function needs to be deactivated.

    How do I activate the the FFH in the cluster

    The FFH can be activated with a suitible diagnostic system. For example an ELM327 interface combined with the ELMconfig or Forscan software.

     

    You basically have 2 options to correct the date/time. Activating the FFH or temporarily installing the original radio.
