Fiesta fuel tank baffle?

Featured Replies

Has anyone see inside a 2003 Fiesta fuel tank?  I've recently noticed the sound of what I imagine is fuel sloshing from side to side, and I'm sure it never used to do that.  A few years ago, I changed the fuel pump in the missus's Ka, and I noticed it had a circular baffle in the middle of the tank.  I'm wondering if I have one, too, and if it has come loose.

I haven't got a solution for your issue, but just a note more than anything. I drive an awful lot of ford focus's, and I've noticed on a few now that I can hear the 'swooshing' of the fuel in the tank at times. Usually when coming to a stop. These are 13 and 15 plate focus's. Reason I'm saying is because i'm not sure it's anything to worry about perhaps?
