My ford has serious power loss after 2nd gear

Featured Replies

Hello all,  I'm new to this site but need help :(

My 2014 ford focus will start up fine and drive fine until I get between 2nd and 3rd gear it will the lose all power and start to shake and won't let me rev above 3500rpm  a warning will display saying engine malfunction.  If I turn if off and on it will be back to normal untill I got into 2nd or 3rd gear again.

Taken it too 2 garages and they have no idea what's going on,  they both have ruled out a blocked filter or turbo problem,.

Its just out of its 3 year warranty and ford will charge £100 just for looking at it

Any help please

what engine?
