Hi,

Got a MK2 a few days ago and haven't yet found anything to get this cover open. It's an LX model.

Does anyone know whats in there? If it's worth opening? A second cig lighter would be ideal like the MK1.

Not seen anything online or in the handbook but don't know what search term to be using!

    my thoughts too.only screws underneath.i small screw driver would get in the slots and pop it off

    The electrics might be under there for the armrest socket...  But it's most likely just screws to hold the console down.  

    Thin screwdriver or knife should pop it out...

    The cover does just pop off.
    There are a couple of bolts there to hold the rear of the console down, sorry nothing exciting at all.
