Hello

My Fiesta is available for me to collect on tuesday.

I have bought a new ipod touch 8gb (latest version 3 i think)

What music formats will the fiesta radio understand.

My car has the usb socket and aux in socket.

What i need to know this for is that iam importing my cd's to the itunes app and i need to know what format to import to

Jamie

If it's going on the iPod it doesn't matter. The car stero will use the USB part of the Y cable to browse through the iPod and the 3.5mm jack to play the music.

If you're using a normal USB datastick then it needs to be MP3.

Aye, as maffoo says the with the iPod it doesn't matter what format it's stored on - the iPod software integrates pretty flawlessly with the Fiesta. You only need to worry about formats if using a memory stick in the USB socket.

On a side note - that is a HUGE sig  could you spread it out or cut it down please? It's larger than most posts on the forum! You can start by getting rid of the advert for your forthcoming car sale - because it breaks the FOC selling rules anyway ;)

is that better

Much better - thanks :D

I thought only Ipod touch 1st gen worked with the Ford system the second Gen doesn't work and the 8GB is a second gen 3rd gen only came out as a 32 or 64 GB.

I'm sure there is an 8gb 3rd gen iPod Touch. It just doesn't come with the remote and mic that's bundled with the 32gb and 64gb models.

they dropped the 16gb model in the 3rd gen.
