Hello, I recently bought a ford fiesta 53 plate. I noticed that all of a sudden the speedo needle will just drop to 0 and will normally not come back on, it is just the speedo as rev counter does still work, any help with this??

    It's likely the speed sensor on the gearbox.  Your odometer probably stops registering miles at the same time?

    I have not looked into that yet, do you know the likely cost if so?

    About £15 for a new sensor.  Maybe half an hour labour if you're not doing it yourself.
