Focus in limp mode need help disparate! !!!!!

Featured Replies

I really hope someone can help me before I set light to it !

My 2005 focus 1.6 petrol has gone into "low speed" mode ,engine system failure , I have had 2 people plug it in to diagnostics first one pointed to throttle body so I bought a second hand replacement which made no difference.  I then had a friend from the AA plug it in and still it pointed to throttle body so I bought another and swapped it again plus as the first diagnosis kept also reporting "low voltage" I have also fitted a new battery ..

The car idles irratic as if it's hunting. Could it be another sensor linked to throttle ?

Has anyone come across this or can anyone suggest what to try next , can't afford to take it to stealership
