Replacement key cost??

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I'm looking for a second key for a 2013 focus zetec standard flip key. Does anyone know the cost of the key and programming.

Yours sincerely Steve Evans

I may be wrong but I was flicking threw my owners manual the other week and am sure I seen a part in it of how to reprogram a key your self. I may be wrong but could be worth a look

Hi Steve.  I went to a local locksmith.  For a non remote key it cost me £60, for a proper one £100.  That was 4 years ago though.  I may be wrong on this but I think someone mentioned you can DIY it via forscan.....but like i say, i could be wrong on that.

i think someone in a previous post said that Timpsons do them. But I think it said Timpsons do it by cloning the key so it has the same code as the other one as opposed to the proper way of doing it where each key has a separate code, if I understood the other post correctly (which I may not have done)
