2015 ford focus lights not illuminating

Featured Replies

I have 2015 Focus ST and for about 7 months the stereo lights under the touch screen don' illuminate and my reading disc is always on.  I've taken this issue up with ford and it's  been taken into ford 3 times and they keep saying there is no issue when I show them what's happening. They have done master reset and updated the software. Has anyone else had this issue before? Not sure where to go from here..

You need to check whether the dealer updated the SYNC (APIM) module AND the ACM (Audio Control module).  This issue is usually caused by the ACM but sometimes the dealer will only update the APIM because that is the "Sync" module, but only doing that won't fix your issue.

This is a known issue, there will be a TSB for it, it just needs the correct software update.

Thanks I will ring ford back again and see what they say
