Hi all,

 

I bought an 07 Focus CC before Christmas to replace my company car. I commute ~2hrs a day, and I’ve noticed that the car is way colder than my 1 series was - to be expected of a convertible I guess!

 

With the heating + heated seats it’s no big deal, but I was thinking about fitting a heated steering wheel as well for the wife.

 

I’ve had a look round, and I can’t find any info on this at all - has anyone had a go at it? It doesn’t look like they were even an option on mk2 focus?

    A cable coming out of a steering wheel cover just looks downright dangerous to me.

    I found the steering wheel in my MK2 Focus saloon  got rather 2 cold for comfort when sat overnight in very cold temperatures.  I cheap steering wheel cover off ebay sorted that out and also looks quite subtle whilst protecting the actual steering wheel from further wear/marking etc.

    Heated steering wheel ? Are you kidding me lol ?

    Are we so delicate and fragile that the car cant be driven for around the 60 seconds it takes for the steering wheel to reach body temp once gripped ?

    You pussys need to man up sharpish....
