Hi all 

Does anyone know the colour of the cable for daytime running lights?

May also need to know the colour of the side light cable aswell.

Would like to have ago at fitting some led drl's.

Be careful, as we've discussed, the DRL and sidelights on an Edge connect into the vehicle electrics and BCM and are not just 'a wire'. Chopping into the wiring on a modern vehicle with a 10p scotch-lock is a really bad idea.

If your Edge is a Sport have no not got posh lights anyway?

Yes it is a sport but even on the sport the led headlights are apparently a £1200 option on purchase?

I have only recently bought mine second hand and as you are probably aware to get a second hand car in the colour you want with all the options you want and at the price you want to pay is near on impossible.😩

I am going to change the bulbs 1st like you and see what that is like.

Oh, I see. Quite a few people have fed back to Ford about how bad the lights are. Maybe Ford will consider a Service Upgrade or similar. I looked at retro fitting the OEM LED's but they are tied very tightly to the rest of the car and are £1,700 a side to buy even after lots of discount................................
