Door lock sticking

Featured Replies

Had my 54 plate focus a few years and its generally been a great servant. Just today went to get back in car and drivers door wouldn't open. Tried to lock/unlock again with fob but no luck. Tried to use key but still locked. Tried other doors and they all unlock so tried to open drivers door from inside....it wouldn't. Then I pressed the "lock" button on the interior handle and found it isn't fully unlocking. So basically I now have to get in the car via passenger door, press the "unlock" button fully and open door. Very annoying and impractical. I have little to no mechanical knowledge but know a "man who can." Just wondering if this is something that just needs minor "fiddling" by someone who knows what they're doing or if it will mean replacing lock. Any advice very welcome
