Looooooooooooooooong wait for the replacement part

Featured Replies

Sadly my new 2017 Edge was crashed by another car in a car park and the both left front door and rear door were damaged however the insurance covers everything.

The Ford approved accident recovery garage said the replacement parts have been ordered since last November, BUT, they only received the front door so far and have no idea when the rear door can arrive. This case has taken over 3 month and I been told by the garage and insurer as they are still chasing the manufacturer daily. I know the parts can take a long way as they are manufactured in Canada, but it takes too loooooooooooong.

Please is there anyway I can get touch with Ford directly rather than their dealer?  Or is there anyway I can chase them up?

Thanks Guys.

You could contact Ford customer service, i had to wait 12 weeks for a trim for the inside of car so a door might take a lifetime. Good luck
