Remote central locking fob

Hi guys!

I have recently bought a 65 plate Ka Gran Prix, and I cannot fault it, cracking car however, it doesn’t have a remote central locking key fob, only two spare keys. Which, is a bit annoying after I’ve spent x amount of pounds on a new car!

I have contacted Ford Bolton, and have been quoted £272 for a new key cut and coded, which i thought was a tad excessive!
Does anyone have any idea of how to get one cheaper, or is this my only option?

I’ve emailed a couple of local automotive locksmiths and am awaiting their response!

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
