Aux line input missing

Hi Guys,

I've spent hours looking at forums, guides and the owners manual and cannot for the life of me work out where the AUX line input is or if the line in Adapter I've found will plug into my head unit.

The owners manual and forums say it will either be in the glove box or centre console but it is in neither. I only seem to have a USB aux.

Here are pictures of the gloves box and centre console. The car has no arm rests.

I've found an adapter to plug into the head unit, but not sure if it will fit.

    The AUX input was deleted some time back. Did your order spec show your car would have one?

    I bought the car 2nd hand from a dealer and it was labelled as having Aux input but when I questioned it they said it just refers to the USB aux.  Using a USB stick for music isn't ideal, I want to connect my phone to use spotify but there is no bluetooth or 3.5 jack to connect it with.  There was a Parrot hands free kit retrofitted to it which I asked them to take out so there must be some scope for addons?
