hi all

looking for some help with airbag light streetka 2004

light flashes 5 times then goes solid

checked connections under seats been searching for codes cant find a diffinitive answer but

was thinking about getting a control module from scrapyard

thing is i dont know the location of this on the car if anyone can help with codes or location

or if the ford ka fits streetka would be much appreciated

thank you

    update after reading about codes i think the 5 flashes are in fact single flashes

    apparently its supposed to start a sequence

    theres a 2 second pause between each flash then goes solid

    been trying to work this sequence out but im stumped

    cheers

    Why don't you get the fault codes read? Instead of guessing at what might be wrong?

    Remove steering wheel, unplug airbag wiring harness, spray switch cleaner inside plug, clean with cotton bud. Job done. Always disconnect the battery before working and Wear safety glasses.
