Fiesta ST rear seat delete/load floor…
I designed and fabricated this aluminum framed load floor so I could have a place to sleep while tent camping, if the weather goes bad.
this one has a forward compartment that has a hidden door to stow small items out of sight and under the floor located in the right side passenger position is a Superflow brand compressor. Next to it is a 2000 watt pure sinewave inverter that draws power from a secondary battery secured in the right rear corner of the cargo area. It can be disconnected from the primary battery via a switch to power my camp gear and lights or switch back to it’s parallel connection to the primary battery to get a recharge as I am driving. I consider this (the load floor)to be one of the features that Ford failed to have enough imagination to offer the buyer. They ended the Fiesta because they claimed that they couldn’t make money on it. The reality is that they didn’t persue the up fitting possibilities that could have easily squeezed some profit out of acccessories and special equipment.
