    some put a small drop of glue on top of the slit to shorten the spray height

    Think there's a photo earlier in this topic showing where the superglue goes (shown at the bottom for cases where the jets fire too low)

    Can also use suguru putty stuff, I got some but not used it just yet.

    Finally gave one of my washer jets the superglue treatment on Sunday and seems to have had the desired effect - used the gel version which seemed to give some leeway for tweeking the size of the opening in the jet before it set hard.
