Cheers Guys, well I made the plunge, I put the deposit down, and they will offer me £4k for my Ceed (:| Which I am gutted about! Severe Depreciation!!!!) and I am looking to hopefully swap tomorrow all being well. I will be getting it booked into an MOT at my local dealership near enough straight away, and any issues will be thrown back to the garage to get it fixed as part of the warranty. Not sure I can afford the RAC but I do trust the local dealer to give me a thorough review of the car.

I look forward to being back, and will just have to take the rough with the pleasure that is being back in the car!

I *MIGHT* even look into doing some MOD's... dual reverse perhaps? tinted rear windows... Possibly a dream as opposed to much else but why not!

Yes it is a sorry goodbye to the ceed and depreciation could be down to petrol prices aswell as tax bracket etc.
But it is now a welcome hello to smooth automatic driving, far increased MPG and cheaper fuel costs.
Some complimenting mods on your Cmax would be:
.front & rear footwell lighting
.rear illuminating badge light
.Cree Q5 dual reverse
.additional boot light
.Osram Cool blue low beam & fogs with Osram Nightbreaker high beam
.De-tango side repeaters and fit Silvatec bulbs to all repeaters
.Green Performance Induction filter
.rear tinted windows
.Gel badge overlays
.12v Boot Socket

Would be finished off nicely at that in my opinion, if your going down the modification road.

Then perhaps:
.Ecu remap to 115bhp with 68mpg and 268Nm Torque.

Thanks for the welcome guys, yes getting quite excited now! Lenny, had a few thoughts on those mod's unfortunately not much disposable income and the difference for the cars is going into bills :@.

Only downside, I called the dealers yesterday and asked them for the service history, seems that the car has never been serviced by Ford so I need to purchase a new manual, a new service booklet, and a service plan!

Looking at getting a haynes manual, but none seem to cover the CVT of my engine, I presume that means I just cant work on the automatic gearbox etc? or will that mean half the book will be useless to me?

i was looking at one on ebay, some guy bought a mk3 2011 plate focus zetec-s i white with body kit, he repaired door &wing as he's a body repairer,but it wont start,this could possibly ecu problem/ fuel cut off switch or other but is dodgy buying something like this,even though at £8950 is not bad, but its cat d.
