I'm in a weird situation, after somebody else drove my car they changed the seating position and I cannot for the life of me get mine back to how it was. I sit quite reclined but also close to the pedals but I've lost the perfect combination that I had. It's comfortable where its at now, but still doesn't feel right as such. Obviously I'm not asking for your help getting i tback as that would be impossible for you to do, but how do you remember how to adjust yours back to how it was as I always forget. I never had this issue in the old Clio and Punto I used to share. I guess its just the way the seats are.

Put a white mark on the dial that’s adjusts the recline and one on the trim so they line up when the seat is adjusted correctly, do the same on the floor runner and the seat itself

I have a similar situation, its a shame that memory seats isnt something ford offer, I had my ST seat perfect, but with 8 adjustments, its v difficult finding the exact combination that you liked....

I had a back injury some years ago, and it makes it a task with each new car to find that combination again, and its never the same in two cars.

Memory seats would be great, I certainly think you can have too mich adjustment on a seat!

On the subject of seats, does anyone else find theirs goes out of adjustment even without anyone else driving?

Can't work out if it's my body that's moving or the seat!  Often get in and find I can't see in the mirrors and don't feel comfortable.  Seems to happen in any car I have though.

Ford used to offer 'dial-o-matic' memory seats back in the 1950s Thunderbird, it's a shame they don't name all the modern tech in the same way.

Yep my C-Max seat keeps dropping as did my mondeos

I'm sure mine gradually reclines on it's own.... so end up 'jacking' it up a notch or two periodically lol

LOl watch adjustment is extremely irritating when it gets messed up!

It's the seat fairies 🤣.
8 way seats are indeed a pain to set properly.
I share a work car with another Officer and he's a shrimp, every time I take over the car I nearly castrate myself on the steering wheel.
I"ve used a metallic silver marker to make a line on the seat rail so I can at least get the horizontal adjustment the same each time and height is guaged by putting my hand on the top of my head, if it just touches the roof lining then I'm high enough.

Ok this is really peeing me off now. The MOT man completely changed everything with the seat position. Now no matter what I do, I CANNOT find a comfortable seat rake. One moment it’s too upright, then a little notch back and it’s too reclined. Arghhhh! Gotta do a 250 mile round trip soon and I’m worried I’m gonna be permanently uncomfortable now! I’ve got the steering wheel and distance from the pedals about right it’s just the rake.
