Featured Replies

Hi

i lost the keys spare aswel anyway . Can a locksmith supply and code new keyless transmitters?

Or is it a new bcm thanks in advance. steven

is the car locked or unlocked? if unlocked a ford dealer should be able to program new remote fobs without to much issue. the problem starts when the car is locked and alarmed, thats a bit more tricky . dont know if a locksmith will be able to do the same or not, give a few local locksmiths a ring and ask the question

On most modern cars, an electronic key fob is an integral part of the key set. At the dealership, the cost of replacing an electronic fob can range from $50-$90, depending on the automaker or complexity of the design. All fobs need to be programmed. Some dealerships will do it for free, while others will charge a half hour to an hour of labor.
