Ford Focus Titanium X 2014 Rear Passenger Door Deadlocked

Hi I have a slight issue with my Ford Focus titanium x 2014. The rear passenger door is dead locked inside and out even when I unlock and lock the car. The other doors and boot work normally. The window on the same door that’s deadlocked doesn’t work. The mechanic has managed to open the door but not solved the issue as of yet. Any ideas would be appreciated as it’s almost Xmas when I need the car most! This fault has only happened recently within the last week or so before we noticed we can open it.
