Hi I’ve just purchased my daughter a fiesta 08. When I purchased the car prevous owner stated the stereo doesn’t work. I can see that the stereo lights up and works but no sound, since having the car two months sound has only worked once.

can anybody help with understanding what I need to do to fix ?

first thing I would do is remove the radio from the dash and check the connectors on the back.  when you turn volume up and down does it show the volume level on lcd display?

do you have the code? you will need it if you disconnect power

Yes and no sound.

Yes that’s the correct stereo, when I turn volume up and down I can see on the display.
