Ticking noise

Featured Replies

My 2011 Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCI ztec s has just had an engine rebuild.

i have done 3500 miles since having it and only now have started having a ticking/clicking noise that happens when it’s idling and increases and gets louder when I accelerate.

any ideas what it could be?

Oil levels are good

Why was it rebuilt in the first place? And by rebuild I assume you stripped the head and did a complete overhaul of the valves etc?
