Centre console USB

Featured Replies

Hi

Has anyone replaced the USB socket on the centre console of a mk 7.5? Mrs one is full of crap from previous owners. What would I need and is it easy to do?

Thanks

Haven't done it but I know that the USB is connected to the apim module via mini usb.

Sorry, what does that mean?

Have you tried to get a can of compressed air and simply blow out any crap that is inside? Make sure the car is off (wait until the power cuts out after ~10 min's or however long it takes) as there is always a little bit of water/liquid when you use the compressed air cans.

That's great do you know of easy to change?

Pass, the module is in the passenger footwell though. If you look at this guide, you can find how to locate it
