Passenger mirror higher than drivers'

Featured Replies

I need some advice. I have recently bought a Ford Fiesta Titanium 2009, and the passenger side mirror is higher than the drivers side mirror. The angle that it is connected to the car also seems like its pointed up slightly. The powerfold is working correctly, its almost like the arm connecting the mirror is slightly longer than the other one. Is this normal for those cars or do you think someone has replaced the mirror at some point with a different, non standard one? I like to have the passenger mirror angled quite low down as i use this to park, and even with the glass pointed as far down as possible, I am unable to see the lines like i could on my old Clio.

If the answer is the latter, is it possible to replace the mirror for one that is the correct height and angle?

Scrapyards should have a genuine one if you believe your wing mirror is aftermarket. I don't know what to look out for to tell if your current one is non-standard.

One theory i am going on is that a previous owner took a 2012-17 mirror and put it on instead of a 2008-12 mirror. Would that be possible?
