Smallest mod ever? LOL

On my recently acquired 2005 LX, the radio trim had a few scratches which bugged me, 3 x coats of satin black later...😀 Yes,I know, too much time on my hands!

LOL, I had originally wanted to get it carbon dipped, but a £40 spend on such a cheap car was silly money, and I already had the paint. Definitely don't need light in the back, but I will be installing 2 x footwell LEDs quite soon, as well as a set of DRLs. I've been pottering around modding cars now for 40 years, I really should have grown out of it by now!

Yeah, just pull the old ones off with pliers wrapped in cloth and push those on.  There are various styles and cheaper prices, they were just the first ones I pulled from ebay lol.

I suspect these forums are going to be your undoing!

I did my surround then did the steering wheel trim,  gear surround, heater vent trim and the switch surround.

mmm... nice heating buttons! You've put my mind at rest now after ordering same.

They are better than the original ones.  It was the first mod I did.  Then did all the trim parts. Then the outside.
