Oil in air intake pipe 1.6tdi 2012 Focus

I was looking to purchase a 2012 focus 1.6 diesel with 25k miles on the clock. On examining the engine bay, I noticed some oil around the concertina intake between the air filter and the turbo. On removing the intake pipe, there was about 15ml of oil in the pipe.

I assume that the oil came from the rocker cover breather. The dealer said this was normal but I would like to be sure before I purchase.

Any idea if this is normal.
Thanks

I think it's pretty normal to have a small amount of oil in there.  Not sure where it comes from, but have heard it mentioned on here before.  Just wait for someone else to chip in as I'm not 100% sure.

It's normal

If you buy it however and it has a DPF I would recommend getting a catch can.

Soot doesn't fill DPFs,  it's the small amounts of oil that get combusted from the ***** poor recirculation system.

I also made a drain hole in the bottom of my intercooler; to drain it at services intervals
