Hi All,

New to the forum, been reading now for the last week or so to try and clue myself up on what I need to know.

I've found out a lot of things already with regards to problems (coolant pipe, overheating, electrical issues) which have scared me slightly, but before I got the car I made sure the dealer who sold it to be had all this checked by Fords.

So, I got my Focus on Saturday, a 1ltr 125 ECOBoost, 62 plate, fantastic body work for its age and I must admit, the features (Titanium model) are fantastic.

What I'm hoping to get out of this thread could be the things I've missed? Are there things I should be doing from a maintenance perspective that I should look out for?

The dealership that sold me the car I made send it to Ford before I went to collect, it had the Clutch recall completed and I also asked them to check the coolant pipe work (thanks to information obtained on this forum) to which Ford confirmed its the modified/upgraded pipework. 

Other things would be tips and tricks? Mods and Remaps. In fact talking about re-maps, I'm very interested in having it remapped, but I'm not sure where to begin. I've seen to different remaps so far, BlueFin and one from a place local to me https://www.rsautomotive.co.uk/ecu-remapping using DimSport tools? Does anyone have an opinion on that?

I've been typing and deleting for a while now, but thanks in advance.
