Mk2 12v socket casing

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've recently got a second hand '08 (mk2) Focus, and a part I'm looking for is the plastic collar that goes around the 12v socket that goes by the gear stick - it's broken. I've managed to jam a wedge in it to stop it from coming out but does anyone know where I could purchase one?

Thank you

try e bay 😊

Ford part number (finis code) is 1561267.
Either request it from your nearest Ford parts counter or from here-

I know it says ignition switch bezel but that's because it is designed to take either the 12v power socket or a start / stop button depending on the cars spec.

That's perfect, thank you! 😄 £11 is a bit steep for a bit of plastic but it's ordered

It was handy that as I did a console upgrade on an old mk2 I did a guide within which was the correct part number.
Double checked on 7Zap and all good.

The fiddly parts usually aren't cheap. [emoji848]
Glad to be of assistance.

Yes, Ford are excellent for charging extortionate prices for small bits of plastic LOL

You think Ford are bad for it (they are), try purchasing the equivalent Audit/Mercedes part brand new.
